I have this one friend who is just the loveliest, and since I couldn't decide what to buy her for Christmas, I chose to make her gift ! Not to brag, but I am in love with how these pillows turned out, and I will definitely make a couple for myself with the left-over fabric. She (I'm not using names, because I haven't given them to her yet lol) loves little sweet housewares as much as I do, so choosing the design was very easy! Originally, I was going to take two old photo frames and, with the same fabric and design, create wall art for their new house. However, Value Village wanted to charge me $20 for 2 frames, and I thought that was a bit high.
My question to you all is this: hypothetically speaking, if I were to open an Etsy store and sell pillows like these and other rustic-cute housewares+trinkets, would that be something that you could see yourself buying? I just want some feedback before I spend the last of my money on purchasing some listings !
I have had to get creative with gifts, this Christmas. In the summer I had more money than I knew how to spend.. but apparently I found a way to spend it. I have two more gifts to buy and then I'm broke.. what a terrible feeling. But, I am really happy with all of the gifts that I have purchased, so far ! I am beyond excited to give Brad his gift, since I know he'll love it ! Buying for my dad was simple this year: he just asked me to sew suede elbow-patches onto a cardigan that my late grandfather gave to him. I think it's a wonderful idea, and it barely cost anything !
